We have been residents of Bourke Hill Apartments (50 Bourke Street Melbourne) since October last year. We are owner/occupiers and as such, this is our home.
We have been impressed with the attention and concern that CDB Facility Management, and in particular John Dall’Amico have shown to us and our apartment, as well as the building in general.
He is a regular presence within the building and his collaborative skills with the OCC members and residents is clearly evident.
50 Bourke Street is not a new complex, but it is in a particularly significant part of the CBD and thus has specific needs to ensure that its owner’s investment and general amenity is protected and enhanced.

This is to inform you that I have been a resident at 50 Bourke Street Melbourne for some 32 years and chairman of the Owners Corporation for the past 12 months, having previously been a member of the Committee.
This is also to inform you that John Dall’Amico, CEO of CBD Facility Management was appointed Building Manager of our Owners Corporation Strata Title premises in October 2015.
Since his appointment John has been most diligent in helping me and the Committee to better manage and service the building by introducing better business management practices and making us legislatively and risk complaint which was sadly lacking previously.
John has personally assessed the contractors engaged to service our plant and equipment, and in a number of cases found them wanting. They have been replaced with others where necessary. This has undoubtedly resulted in our better performance, cost effectiveness, and the better overall control of contractors and their services.
I must admit that while I prided myself in maintaining costs, John has proven to be even more diligent than I am in this regard.
With respect to the cleaning/caretaking issues; for the first time in a long time I am being complimented with the level of cleaning being provided by John’s staff, all of whom are friendly and cooperative.
So, all in all, I can certainly compliment and recommend John to do exactly what he says he is going to do and more.
